About
Safes Compared is an independent safe catalog. It does not sell safes. The editor records kind, grade, fire class, litres and price only when a source is on file.
An EN 14450 or EN 1143-1 grade, and a fire class, are stored when the linked page names that standard. A grade is never inferred from a product title, and it is not an insurance policy: the insurer decides what is covered.
A noted price carries the date it was visible. Amazon and the other shops can change it. The button opens the shop, and the price that matters is the one there at the time you buy. The Italian, English and German pages show only that language’s market.
The public catalog lists models read from a shop or maker page, including models whose page does not name a grade. A price is stored for the market where it was printed. On the other markets the link opens the same page so the price can be checked.
Corrections to a grade, a photo or a price go through the contact page.
This catalog is called Safes Compared. It is hosted on safecomparer.com. It is not a shop, and it is not another service on the same site: this page compares safes.
