EN 1143-1 grade IV: certified safes
EN 1143-1 classifies safes, ATM safes, strongroom doors and strongrooms by burglary resistance, from grade 0 up to grade XIII. The standard test for safes includes attacks with hand tools, electric tools and thermal tools (ECB-S). The higher the grade, the greater the resistance: the time taken and the tools used both count.
